Her book is a good start for those who have never heard of Fiverr, much less looked into it. She gives a comprehensive overview of what Fiverr does (and later gives links to other up-and-coming competitors to Fiverr). If you begin using her advice from the outset (creating a file for ideas), by the time you finish most of the chapters, you'll have enough information to actually set a gig or two (a "gig" being an offer for work for $5). For that it deserves at least 4 stars (poor proofreading diminished it from 5).For those who know about Fiverr, it's a no-brainer and the equivalent to a child's primer. For the rest of us, it's a good beginning.
I rated it only 3-stars, however, because she condones the use of sock puppet accounts and IDs for some of the gigs. Although I know it's legal to do, sock puppetry gives off the feel of lying at worst and trickery at best. Normally, a person reads reviews and comments to learn about the product and make an informed decision. When several comments are from the same person under different names and IDs, it invalidates the comments and prevents an informed decision. That is the only gripe I have about the book.
Other than the above, the information is valid and useful. If you don't mind that you have to do a little research to make your gigs viable, and that most won't make money overnight, it's a good beginner's guide to Fiverr.

It's an interesting idea but in an already saturated market it's difficult to find a new angle or idea that hasn't already been thought of.
If one really does all the things this author suggests, I believe an income could be gleaned online. Nothing is easy in the making money at home arena, and though no get rich quick scheme, there is solid advice and techniques here to really try. Roll up your sleeves, and give it a try!
Thanks to this book my wife and I increased our sells on fiverr, Connie Brentford wrote lots of great strategies for making money through this amazing website. Its is well written, easy, you'll finish in a few hours but will get lots of useful tips.
By now everything she related in the book is pretty much the same, so the book is still up to date. Highly recommended!
I just finished reading the book and am looking forward to getting started with Fiverr. This is a good resource for anyone thinking about exploring ways to make money online. There are many insightful pointers on what to consider when planning your own Fiverr gigs.
It's OK. If you don't want to take the time to look at the website this is a good compilation of all the info you can find there. You can read this in about an hour, especially if you skip the last 10% or so, which is just promotion of her other writings. The one glaring oversight I see in the book (booklet) is it completely ignores Paypal fees. The claim that even one gig a day will pay you $120 a month doesn't take into account that for transactions under $3000 Paypal is going to take 2.9% plus .30 per transaction, or about 10.75%, bringing that $120 to $107.16 and the the $1200 per month on the cover will actually be $1071.16. You may find this trivial but in any business an expense that consumes better than 10% of your bottom line is significant and should be taken into account going in. She does write well, and the text was refreshingly free of typos and grammar errors. The pictures of gigs don't show up well on my kindle, but on my tablet I could enlarge them.
It was pretty basic. I had already signed up for the Fiverr.com site and was looking for some great inside secret.
But if one really takes the time to read all of the tips that are on the Fiverr website, it's pretty much the same info as in this book.
The only good thing about this book is that it gives you all the helpful hints in one package v. hunting around on Fiverr.com reading the helpful articles.
The price was right for what I received.
I've enjoyed other ebooks by this author such as Make Money Online - 97 Real Companies That Pay You To Work In Your Pajamas and The Moonlighter's Guide To Online Writing For Immediate Income. I gave both books five stars.
This book however I'm giving 3 stars. A third of the book is basic information on this "free site" that you can find on said "free site." Some of the advice on how to gain more exposure for your listed services and how to promote is very hit and miss. After reading the book, I came away with the feeling that this "free site" is very hit and miss and for the low amount of money you're going to make per service (that you're offering) there too much effort involved in attracting customers. The book isn't a bad book, but I recommend the two books that I previously mentioned over this one.
